Congratulations to the Land Registry IS Team on successfully attaining CMMI ML 2. "Our selection of Lamri to lead us through the CMMI appraisal process was rewarded by success. Our quest for CMMI accreditation started at the beginning of 2007 with a SCAMPI B gap analysis, this identified a number of weaknesses across all process areas. For the next 12 months we tried to address the gaps ourselves, but without a joined up approach could not close those gaps. Lamri then put forward a proposal based on a collaborative approach, to lead us through a rigorous process definition phase over a 13-week period. This produced 48 key artefacts across 6 process areas all delivered to a formal standard and included policy documents, processes with key measurements, training material and a CMMI maturity measurement tracker. In August 2008 Lamri then assisted us with the roll out and institutionalisation of these processes and Lamri led the adoption measurement approach using internal process champions. Once again Lamri’s practical and pragmatic approach proved to be a winning formula and within a couple of months there was a significant shift towards fully compliant process adoption. In December 2008 Land Registry Information Systems achieved an excellent result in SCAMPI B preparing us for a successful SCAMPI A appraisal in March 2009 and achievement of a maturity level 2 rating. Process adoption measurement was fundamental in us achieving this result allowing us to focus effort on weaker areas. The Lamri approach, and the continuity, commitment and experience of the Lamri team, have been undoubtedly key in Land Registry achieving CMMI accreditation."
