John, is a driven individual who brings the practical experiences of running engineering departments through to managing business transformations.

John understands that the people change is critical to the successes of business change. John also brings a wealth of detailed technical experience ranging from Enterprise tools setup to an in depth understanding of the military standards these have been gained working on projects for the Army, Air-force and Navy. Of which at least two projects where at SIL 2 and one at SIL 4 (Safety related and Safety Critical), one of the projects included nuclear safety.  Other standards include JSP 188, NES 620, Def Stan 2167a, Def stan 00-55, Def Stan 00-56 and Def Stan 00-25.

Recent engagements have included:

• Large Government Department where John helped this organisation on their CMMI journey, supporting several sections to achieve CMMI maturity level 2. In collaboration with the client, John constructed its business change approach to addressing CMMI maturity level 3. Including Mentoring the Head of Software Engineering who was new in post. 
• John was the overall Quality Manager for the organisation, mentoring 11 quality managers in different strands of the organisation helping them to achieve CMMI maturity level 2 in just 1 year
• BT Health  where John supported the systems engineering department resolving the requirements traceability issues that they were having. This was essential to allow the systems engineering department to demonstrate closure of their contractual obligations. John defined the end to end requirements management process in a RUP environment, and a monthly set of management information to the head of systems engineering showing the status of requirements against end product.

Johns history as a consultant has been far ranging, successfully completing engagements such as a Tools environment consultant (rational Suite and Telelogic) , Transformation team Business Change Manager, Quality Manager, Requirements Manager (Systems Engineering), CMMI Consultant. Appraisal Team Member and Mentor to Head of Software and Head of Quality.

John joined Lamri from CAE Marine where he was the software development manager for C&I systems for the Astute Class Submarine introducing RUP to help deliver systems that had high technical risk.
