Accenture
Accenture, one of Lamri’s strategic customers, has received nine CMMI Maturity Level 3 ratings in one of the largest and most focused CMMI appraisal programmes ever conducted. The ratings were awarded to Accenture’s Financial Services unit which comprises more than 30,000 professionals spread across 16 countries. Lamri partnered with Accenture on building the approach to, and supporting the management of, this unique CMMI appraisal programme. In addition, Lamri led 6 of the 9 appraisals conducted in the programme.
CMMI is a benchmark of an organisation’s capability to deliver technology based projects successfully. Organisations are now, more than ever, critically dependent on their ability to exploit technology to drive up revenues and bring down costs. In the US CMMI has been used for some years by the US Department of Defense as a qualifier in the procurement process and it is now finding favor in Europe.
“This is a real change marker for this sector, one that will alter the competitive landscape and has serious potential to change procurement practice for technology based projects in the private and public sector. In fact, if leveraged by their sales team, this creates a strong unique selling point that would take the competition at least 18 months to replicate,” said Andrew Griffiths, Managing Director, Lamri.
“We are proud to be recognized as successfully subscribing to internationally acclaimed quality standards. Lamri’s expertise was vital in helping us to fully understand the complexity of our CMMI aspirations and the power of independent verification. Being able to demonstrate a minimum of CMMI level 3 across our entire range of work is a fantastic market credential that our clients can rely on.” Mark Smith, Financial Services Global Director of Quality, Accenture.

"The knowledge and experience of the Lamri team has been invaluable in helping us focus on both what to do to make the change and how to go about it. Our efforts to define and improve our internal processes have achieved a real momentum as a result of their expertise; in particular it has been their ability to identify what will work for us and to adapt the textbook approach accordingly that has helped us make the changes thus far. Although we are on the first steps of this journey I am confident they are the right steps, in the right direction, as a result of the difference they have made"

LogicaCMG UK Ltd
"LogicaCMG UK Ltd started its journey towards CMMI towards the end of 2005. Right from the start we determined the need for external expertise in the methodology and spoke to a number of companies offering CMMI consultancy, training and appraisals. Lamri made an immediate favourable impression in their responsiveness, flexibility and pragmatism. Our goal in utilising CMMI was not to get a certificate on the wall but to use it as a driver towards real business improvements. It was an opportunity for us to re-evaluate our internal processes using a model other than ISO9001 and TickIT. We wanted to check if we were still operating best practices and to tease out improvements in business critical areas. These kind of objectives require a special kind of support. We were not interested in CMMI specialists who could quote the book chapter and verse. We needed people who could interpret CMMI goals intelligently in our complex business environment with many projects of various sizes and flavours. Lamri convinced us that they could add real value to our programme and so it proved in the following months.
Lamri provided excellent CMMI support with the right balance of firmness, pragmatism and flexibility. They had a good understanding of our needs and gave a lot of good practical advice. Lamri soon became key to our CMMI initiative providing valued common sense input on scoping and planning and making sure our SCAMPI appraisals went smoothly.
The end result met our objectives. Opportunities for real business improvements were identified and addressed. Along the way we have also gained Maturity Level 3 for our Space & Defence and Public Sector businesses against v1.2 of the CMMI model which provides a substantial benchmark of our current processes against industry best practice."

Norwegian Armed Forces"We engaged Lamri in delivering the "SEI Introduction to CMMI for Development" to us, as well as the "CMMI Survival Guide - CMMI for Services" and the "Executive Briefing". We are very pleased with how our instructor Kieran Doyle presented the material and made it practical and understandable. Feedback from the delegates has been: "Best course ever" and "An intensive course, but well worth the heavy start".
