Lamri offers independant Supplier Capability Appraisals (SCA), enabling organisations to place contracts with key insight into the actual capability of their potential suppliers. SCAs provide an opportunity to see beyond proposal documents, and appreciate where the critical risk for your particular project really lies - before contract award.

Supplier Capability Appraisals offer:

insight into supplier's working level development and management practises
a means of exposing critical risk, pre-contract award
a method for forcasting future performance from current practice

They also:

provide a basis for future risk management activities
provide a future performance measurement baseline
inform supplier selection by ranking potential suppliers in terms of process maturity measured against a reference model of world best practice

By measuring an organisation's processes against a best practice model such as CMMI®, it is possible to measure the risk in process terms of whether the arrangements are in place to assure the successful delivery of the project - or not. Confidential interviews with project staff are key to the method and provide an understanding of the organisation's culture; is it chaotic, exciting and adhoc or is it planned, rewarding and well organised?
